Fariza binti Ali was appointed to the IIB Board on 1 April 2023. She joined the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) in November 2014 as the Manager in the Domestic Section under the Capital Market Department. Currently, she is the Head of the Real Estate Investment Market Department.
She possesses an extensive background in investment management, with a focus on areas like banks’ treasury, asset management, and pension funds. Fariza honed her skills in this area, gaining in-depth knowledge on financial instruments, complex loan structures, and trading & portfolio management.
Fariza graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia with a Bachelor of Finance and a Master's in Islamic Banking.
