
Dato’ Idzham Mohd Hashim was appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) on 1 October 2022. He also serves as Chairman of IIB Land, Medini Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MIMSB), EduCity Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd (EIMSB), Iskandar Capital Sdn Bhd (IskCap), and Nusajaya Lifestyle Sdn Bhd (NLSB).
A seasoned entrepreneur and corporate leader, Dato’ Idzham has led and delivered transformative developments both locally and internationally. Prior to joining IIB, he held senior leadership roles at Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd and Enra Group Berhad, overseeing landmark projects in Malaysia and the United Kingdom with a combined gross development value (GDV) exceeding RM32 billion.
Among the notable projects under his leadership are KL Metropolis, MITEC (Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre), Platinum Park, TTDI Alam Impian, and TTDI Grove Kajang.
Beyond property development, Dato’ Idzham has founded and led several entrepreneurial ventures in HealthTech, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Education and EdTech, Information Technology, Automotive and Motorsports, and Fund Management, reflecting his broad business acumen and commitment to innovation-driven growth.
He actively contributes to industry development as a National Council Member of the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) Malaysia and a former REHDA Selangor Committee Member. He is also a Panel Advisor with GBS Malaysia and a former member of the Panel of Experts under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT).
Under his leadership, IIB has achieved significant milestones that reinforce its position as a regional catalyst for sustainable urban growth. The Group is driving the development of Medini Innopolis, a 2,270-acre smart and sustainable township anchored by Malaysia’s first Net Zero Carbon Central Business District, targeted for completion by 2030.
Through the formation of IIB Land and IIB Property Services (IIBPS), Dato’ Idzham has strengthened IIB’s business portfolio by introducing new revenue streams and expanding the Group’s presence in property management and lifestyle developments.
A key highlight is the inaugural launch of IIB Land’s Wawari Westpark Homes, the first townvilla concept within the 2,967-acre Wawari township, envisioned to accommodate 120,000 residents by 2050. Grounded in the principles of wellness, sustainability, and thoughtful placemaking, the development introduces a refined residential offering designed to foster connected communities and quality living.
Operational excellence remains a core priority under his leadership at IIB, with the company achieving ISO 41001 Facility Management Certification and ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification, underscoring its commitment to governance, compliance, and service quality.
The Group has also forged nine strategic partnerships with leading institutions and agencies to advance innovation, talent development, and regional integration.
IIB’s dedication to sustainability and innovation has earned prestigious accolades, including the UN Global Compact Forward Faster CEO Award, the National Energy Award (NEA) 2025, and the PropertyGuru Asia Award for Best Mega Township Masterplan Design (Medini Innopolis). These recognitions affirm IIB’s leadership in ESG, energy efficiency, and masterplanning excellence.
Under Dato’ Idzham’s stewardship, IIB successfully hosted the first-ever Nikkei Forum Medini Johor, the inaugural Nikkei forum held outside Kuala Lumpur, further positioning Medini and Iskandar Puteri as an emerging hub for international dialogue and regional collaboration.
Dato’ Idzham holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the West of England (Bristol Business School) and a Bachelor of Commerce (specialising in Econometrics and Finance) from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

A specialist in Real Estate Financial Modelling, he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Real Estate at the University of Cambridge and has previously completed the Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
