Danny joined IIB Group on 1 October 2022 and was appointed as Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance effective 17 April 2023. Previously, Danny was the Head of Corporate Planning & Transformation for Medini Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd, where he served for 9 years.
Danny has over 20 years of work experience, in both the professional services and commercial industries. He began his career in Big 4 accounting firms (EY and KPMG Malaysia) and left as a Director after a total of 13 years. Professional services provided to clients include enterprise risk management, internal audit, corporate governance, advisory and financial audit. He has worked with clients in various industries such as the government-linked companies, real estate, construction, telecommunications, financial institutions, etc. Danny was with the Risk Management Department of Sime Darby Berhad in 2013, whereby, he was the Head of Risk for the Group’s Property Division.
Danny is professional member of CPA Australia and graduated from Curtin University of Technology (Australia) with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Information Systems).
