Shariz Puteh joined IIB in February 2024 as the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. He has over 20 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance. His professional services provided to clients include risk management, internal audit, corporate governance, advisory and financial audit.
As Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance, he is responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This includes staying abreast of regulation changes and ensuring that the IIB practices align with these requirements.
Shariz Puteh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, and is a Certified Financial Services Auditor (“CFSA”), issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
