Kapten (Terhormat) Prof Dr. Sakina Sofia Baharom (Dr.Sakina) joined IIB in April 2019 as the Director of Operations in EduCity Iskandar. Previously, she held various positions in the education sector including Director (Education, Investment) for MARA Corporation, Vice Chancellor of UNITAR International University and part of the management team at Multimedia University (MMU).
Amongst her many achievements in shaping the nation’s education landscape includes her role as the lead researcher for ‘Performance Management Blue Book’ Strengthening Performance Management, Higher Education Policy Studies, awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education.
Dr.Sakina is also an Adjunct Professor at Raffles University and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from The University of Salford.
